Weekend, and again with the random...
Bah.
At least the weekend is here.
And my gub'mint has banned imported turkeys and other poultry-like birds. Bird flu freaking out. Now what would cause them to freak out like that?
Hmmm.
I wonder if ostrich qualifies as "poultry-like"?
Cricket in 1/2 hour. Will Brian Charles Lara score the runs he needs to be the all-time Test run record holder? (He needs 13. Or 12.)
(After being the victim of a string of dubious dismissals (disputed ref/umpire calls, f'r the Yanks reading this) he busted out of his slump yesterday. 202 not out.)

God I hope not since I'm counting on ostrich as backup for Christmas/New Year's dinners. (I'm sure our gub'mint will start banning importing fowl if they haven't already.)
