Look the storm coming!

Anyways, the storm came, looked at Trinidad and decided that better pickings were to be had elsewhere.
News for the day: the botched Elephant Man and Bounty Killer concert.
Here's my take on it: It generally is NOT a good idea to continue with an outside concert when Emergency Management announce a tropical storm warning (expect the storm to hit). So anyway, like most concerts of its type, it's a bandit convention (not deliberately, but it ends up that way). People perform, and Bounty comes out.
Cusses on the mike.
Now, I agree that the law against obscene language is stupid. Needs to be repealed, and all that. No argument there. However, police LOVE to make examples of artistes who cuss by arresting them. So Bounty cusses, police come on stage, arrest him.
Elephant Man decides he's not performing in solidarity with his brother performer. Bottles are thrown, the DJ plays music until police break up the crowd until 4 a.m. and there's some police crowd control, including tear gas used.
Sigh.
People only talking about the concert and forgetting everything else.
I feel the promoter shoulda cancel the show, seeing that a storm was coming, and swallow he losses. But they claim that they was scared of the crowd rioting (think the end of Woodstock) so they ain't do that, or something so.
Promoter is saying that there will be a big free concert to compensate people who did not see Bounty and Elephant, but NO REFUND.
Pon the river, pon the bank. Or something. Not profound tonight. Not sleepy either.
