Eddie was more than a great wrestler (yes, GREAT. Up there with Flair, Angle, Chris Benoit, even Kermit (hawk, ptui). Mount Perpetually Over, to quote Eric S.). Most importantly, he was a great person and a huge inspiration to the other wrestlers. JBL, Dave. Made them look good. Credible. The great ones can do that, you know. And make it look easy. Make a broomstick look like a maineventer. Make someone with potential look like a superstar. Eddie had talent in spades. Had his demons too, but he beat them back. Having beaten them back, he fulfiled his potential.

I'll have to admit, that as much as I hate Kermit, I had to give him his due for laying down for ReyRey. All of the matches were just classy. Even the Diva BR, wasn't just a gratuitous display of flesh. I wish I could get Smackdown Friday, because I know Chris is going to do something fabulous.
