People now making less noise. People still noisemaking and blowing car horns, dancing on cars, dancing in the road, waving flags (red, black and white, if you please)...

Steelband side pass. I feel is Exodus. Hear a rhythm section gone up the road there. Percussion!

And probably a tassa group too.
Music and celebration. Think Carnival. Think Fat Tuesday in NOLA.

I so don't get this but congratulations anyway. I know how nuts people go around here when the 'Skins win a Super Bowl.

This is far bigger than any SuperBowl.

The World Cup is the globe's BIGGEST sporting event. Bigger than the Olympics. Far bigger than the World Series, far bigger than the NBA finals, far bigger than anything else. Countries have been known to fight wars over the World Cup.

It is the beautiful game, after all.

And we're going for the first time ever. We'll be partying more than we usually do until next year.
