In Barbados for the weekend. Gonna buy some books and magazines, chill with the significant other, squire her to one of those those Christmas staff dinners that I loathe, and try to fit in a report somewhere. No, we don't say "holiday" in the Caribbean.

We could browse Pages together. (Pages is a HUGE bookstore in Bridgetown). As Barbados is heavily into the tourist thing, they tend to have a decent set of bookstores.

Plus, people read. a LOT.
